The "Banat" Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of timis county is organised and functions in order to execute prevention missions, guidance, control, monitoring and segmentation of emergency situations, according to types of existing risk. The main purpose of the County inspectorate is to defend the life of goods and surroundings against fires and disaster, as well as offer civil protection and segment emergency situations.
