ADETIM - The Agency for Economic-Social Development of the Timiş Countywas founded in 1995 by the Timis County Council, in partnership with timisoara Town hall and the Timisoara Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, by Decision nr. 11/11 May 1995, respecting the Law of Local Public Administration nr. 69/1991. At that time, ADETIM was the first structure specialised in local and regional economic development set in Romania based on a coherent concept of intitation of policies for proper regional and local economic development, similar to Western models. Our business card and staff competence is based on more than 15 years of experience in the area of intiiation, implementation and management of projects for local economic development, as well as services and results reached in the area of assistence to the SME sectorand the area of professional development of staff in local public amdinistration. Since 2008 ADETIM - The Agency for Economic-Social Development of the Timiş Countyis reorganised as a public services subordinated to the Timis County Council. The Agency is one of the main organisational instruments created by the Timis County Council in order to develop the economy of the county, by aiming to become the interface between local public administration and the private sector, a center for promotion of best policies, methods and practices for economic development. As a partner for cooperation of public institutions and private economic agents in Romania and abroad, ADETIM offers informationa and consultancy services as well as project management and support in accessing financing programs, in order to reach the objectives if investitions in the public and private sector. The goal of ADETIM is to identify problems hindering the economic development of the TimisCounty, suggest proper solutions and initiate projects will will solve theseproblems, therefore contributing to the economic-social development of the Timis county.
